Kartika Puspita Sari - Japan

I’m an ordinary girl who have lots of dream from a beautiful tropical country named Indonesia. I had a GIP experience in Ninja country, Japan. I worked with a TEAM of International Affairs from Tsuchiya Co., Ltd. We were working on an International Affairs and Marketing Department that made me meet with new awesome people because we believed that doing this soul influenced people by their experiences without experience it by ourselves. My role was to translate documents from Bahasa to Japanese and introduce Indonesian culture and language to employee. This experience challenged me because I have to deal with experienced Japanese employees and shocking Japanese culture. This is my best AIESEC experience because I can connect Indonesia and Japan through this Internship. And it taught me that even we’re live thousand miles away, we are still live under the same sky. So someday I believe that we can meet again on another part of the world.

Widya Nur Hidayati - Japan

I had a GIP experience as a teacher in Ichihara Chuo High School in Tokyo, Japan. My biggest experience is I never met any society as polite, safety, and hard worker like Japanese people. They really focus on what they are doing, that is my turning point for always doing something with heart. "Ichi Go Ichi E" it’s a phrase that means "Once in a Lifetime" even though I only met them once, but I really treasured my relationship with all of them. I realize that world has no barrier, so just makes your moves, met many people, get learning, and together let’s make positive impact to change the world.

Paramitha Dewi Nugraheni - Taiwan

I had a GIP experience as International Sales Representative in Totempak Solutions. This is a very cool experience since i had a chance to go to Las Vegas and several countries (soon) for handling the exhibition there. I never expect this before. I learn a lot about communicate to costumer from diverse culture, how to deal with them, how to make them interested with our product, and of course how to talk with people from different countries. Yes, I have so muchfun here personal and professionally. Do not let me have the fun alone. Go grab this awesome opportunity!

Dimas Suryo - Mexico

My GIP experience to México couple years ago was more than a working experience but more to my professional, cultural and adventurous experience. Beside to proof your skills and abilities that you acquired at school you will also have a chance to proof the stereotypes that are going around in our society about our destination country. A lot of amazing things occurred to me when I went to México. I didn't really want to go to México either due to its notorious reputation in organised crimes but still what I got back then in México was proceeding beyond my expectations.

In México, I worked in a fast moving consumers goods company called Empresas Tajín S.A. de C.V. I was its first employee who received a full training in sales, marketing and logistics as part of their management trainee program. I learnt a lot from my workplace about working in a totally different circumstances. Furthermore, I was the only Indonesian around. I had to jump from one supermarket to another to sell my products. Not many people in México who could speak English so I didn't have another choice but to learn Spanish. So exchange gave me opportunity to develop my adaptation skills in learning another language.

So now I also capable to speak the world second largest speaking language in the world, Spanish. In México also met a lot of friends from another Latin America countries and they also helped me to understand more about the continent and its culture. I felt really blessed that I could embrace this magnificent experience. Actually it doesn't matter with the country of your choice because each country offers an unprecedented experience that you won't perceive by only reading book or watching television. So now I want to challenge you to step out from your comfort zone, go to a random country so I could hear an exceptional stories from you.
